Alia Kapasi is a South Carolina native and a graduate of the College of Charleston. She is currently living and working in Washington, D.C as the Chief of Staff of Campaigns and Political at the DCCC (democratic congressional campaign committee). She previously worked as a Political Coordinator and as an Organizer for Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign.
Hilena is a first-year law student at Lincoln Alexander School of Law. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo where she majored in Health and Legal Studies. Her experience at Waterloo and the internships she has obtained during that time, such as interning at non-profits like Up with Women and John Howard Society helped her develop an interest in social justice and equal access to the law. With her law degree, Hilena plans on helping marginalized communities by also integrating technology with social justice to increase accessibility for legal resources. She was the Vice President of Model UN (MUN) in university and is currently involved with some international MUN conferences. She believes that it is a great way to develop transferable skills.
Nathaniel graduated from the University of Southampton in 2018 with a bachelors degree in International Relations. During his time at university, Nathaniel was a regular on the MUN circuit, attending his first conference in London and taking part in subsequent conferences in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and India as both delegate and Chair. Since leaving university Nathaniel has started his career in the UK Civil Service and currently works at the UK Department for International Trade as a policy advisor and negotiator.
